Wisdom, Family, Trust, Commitment, Reliability, Integrity, and Accountability The Position We're seeking a motivated individual to join our field crew as a Civil Construction Laborer . This position offers hands-on training in all aspects of sitework and underground utility construction.

Learn skilled trades from experienced professionals Accumulate the verifiable, hands-on hours required under our licensed Master Plumber to qualify for your Journeyman certification Work on diverse commercial, industrial, and residential projects Gain experience in pipe installation, grading, equipment operation, and site development Clear path for career advancement within a stable, growing company Year-round employment including winter maintenance work No experience required—we'll train the right person.
Install water lines, sanitary sewer lines, and storm drainage systems Install utility structures including catch basins, manholes, and related infrastructure Trench work including digging, backfilling, and compaction Pipe laying and connecting systems
Grading & Sitework:
Hand grading and fine grading for hardscapes and landscapes Site preparation for buildings, parking lots, sidewalks, and paved areas Excavation and earthmoving operations Using layout and measuring equipment
Equipment & General Labor:
Operating skid steers, rollers, compactors, and other light equipment Using hand tools and power equipment including shovels, rakes, concrete saws, grinders, jackhammers, chop saws and various demolition and finishing tools. Cleaning and maintaining equipment and tools Assisting operators and skilled tradespeople Site cleanup and organization
Additional Duties:
Property and building maintenance (interior and exterior) Snow removal operations Landscaping tasks as needed General construction labor across various project types
Qualifications Required:
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to perform physical labor and lift 80+ lbs. Willingness to work outdoors year-round in all weather conditions (rain, snow, heat, cold) Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset Willingness to follow directions and learn Willingness to a background check and drug screening Preferred (But Not Required): 1+ years of experience in civil construction, sitework, or utilities Knowledge of underground utility installation Experience operating equipment (skid steers, backhoes, compactors) Ability to read civil blueprints and plans Experience with GPS layout equipment (Topcon preferred) OSHA 10 certification CDL Class A or B license Mechanical aptitude
