Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of building and renovating structures, ensuring that projects progress smoothly and safely. Your hands-on work will support skilled tradespeople by preparing sites, handling materials, and assisting with various construction tasks. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to high-quality construction projects. Responsibilities Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including site cleanup and material organization Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to perform tasks such as concrete mixing, cutting, pouring, and finishing Support the installation of rebar, formwork, and metal stud framing according to blueprints and schematics Help with concrete work including pouring, finishing, cutting, and pumping to ensure smooth surfaces and structural integrity Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately execute construction plans and specifications Follow all safety protocols and workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure environment for all team members Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks required for renovation, restoration, roofing, masonry, plastering, stucco application, caulking, trim carpentry, flooring installation, and other construction activities Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate various hand tools and power tools effectively Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate project execution Knowledge of construction estimating processes and ability to interpret construction plans Familiarity with concrete forming, pouring, finishing, cutting, pumping, and related techniques Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail in tasks such as rebar installation and formwork construction Skilled in using masonry tools, plastering equipment, roofing materials, caulking guns, and other specialized tools necessary for diverse construction projects Join our team if you're ready to build your career in a vibrant environment where safety is paramount and every day brings new opportunities for growth.
