As a General Laborer, you will be an essential part of keeping the city's grounds safe and beautiful while gaining valuable hands-on experience in grounds maintenance and street work. • Perform street maintenance and traffic control
• Conduct general landscaping and mowing
• Assist with varied grounds maintenance activities in parks and public spaces
• Support city projects with physical outdoor work in different weather conditions Minimum Requirements
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to work independently
• Lift and move up to 60 pounds
• Stand for long periods of time
• Follow all safety procedures
• Ability to perform physical activity in all weather conditions
• Cooperative behavior with colleagues, supervisors, and the public Nice to Have Skills
• Previous grounds or street maintenance experience
• Traffic control or safety certification Preferred Education and Experience
• No specific education required
• Prior experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or outdoor manual labor is a plus Other Requirements
