Duties Assist skilled tradespeople with tasks such as carpentry, drywall installation, tile laying, and cabinet hanging to ensure smooth workflow on-site. Support the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including moving materials, tools, and equipment safely. Help with the installation of building materials such as stucco, plastering, caulking, and flooring under supervision. Operate power tools and hand tools safely to aid in tasks like window installation, door hanging, and trim carpentry. Follow detailed construction plans and technical drawings to accurately carry out assigned duties. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering strictly to safety protocols at all times. Assist in heavy equipment operation when trained and authorized, supporting excavation or material transport as needed. Skills Basic knowledge of construction management principles and safety procedures. Experience with construction site activities including remodeling, hardscaping projects, and outdoor work environments. Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and construction plans. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment operation. Understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, drywall installation, caulking, stucco application, and tile laying. Ability to work effectively as part of a team on diverse building projects requiring attention to detail. Strong communication skills to follow instructions clearly and collaborate with team members.
