We handle a variety of residential repair, remodeling, and construction projects throughout the area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants more than just a temporary labor job. We are building a company with significant growth potential and want to find someone interested in growing alongside us. The position will begin with flexible, part-time hours based on our workload, but it has the potential to develop into steadier work, increased pay, greater responsibility, and advancement as the company grows. You do not need to know everything on your first day. We are willing to teach someone who shows up consistently, works hard, follows directions, and genuinely wants to learn the trades.

Responsibilities include:

Carrying and organizing tools and materials Setting up and cleaning job sites Demolition and debris removal Assisting with framing, drywall, flooring, decks, kitchens, bathrooms, and other remodeling work Making supply runs when needed Learning proper construction methods and tool use Following directions and maintaining a clean, safe jobsite Respecting customers, their homes, and their property What we're looking for: Dependable, motivated, and willing to work Able to arrive on time and ready to work Interested in learning construction and developing new skills Comfortable working indoors and outdoors Able to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds Able to take direction and work as part of a team Professional and respectful around customers Reliable transportation to job sites Basic construction experience is helpful but not required

Schedule:

This position will begin as flexible, part-time employment. Workdays and hours will vary depending on scheduled projects. Some weeks may offer several days of work, while other weeks may be lighter. We will provide as much advance notice as possible and try to work with your availability.

Compensation and growth:

Starting pay is $15.00 per hour. Pay increases and advancement will be based on dependability, performance, skills, and the ability to take on more responsibility. As Small Job Solutions continues to grow, the right person may have the opportunity to move into consistent employment and eventually take on a skilled laborer, crew-leader, or project-lead position. We want someone who is interested in becoming an important part of the company—not someone who is only looking to fill a few days.
