Overview:
A client of ours is hiring Utility Laborers for their Rochester, PA operation supporting projects across the greater Pittsburgh area. A Utility Laborer will assist the crew in completing the project safely, on time, and meeting the customer specifications for quality.
Must Haves:
Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch, dig and reach Must be able to lift, carry and place heavy objects Must be able to climb ladders Must have the ability to work extended hours when needed
Education:
High School diploma or GED Meet all DOT requirements (physical and drug testing) Comfortable with occasional travel

Day:

Assist as required in all manual labor aspects of the project as directed by the Crew Leader, Foreman, or Supervisor Handle physically demanding construction duties in an outdoor environment Assist crew members in placing underground pipes, conduits, shovel work, and in the operation of power tools Learning career development skills related to utility construction, including the operation of equipment. (on-the-job training will be provided in in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation and maintenance). Occasional extended travel required (Per Diem paid for all out-of-town projects)
