Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and energetic Wallpaper Installer and Painter to transform interior spaces with precision and creativity. In this role, you will be responsible for installing wallpaper, performing various painting tasks, and ensuring high-quality finishes on residential and commercial projects. Responsibilities Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming to ensure optimal adhesion for wallpaper and paint. Measure walls accurately, interpret technical drawings, and cut wallpaper or paint materials precisely for seamless installation. Install wallpaper using hand tools, spray equipment such as airless or conventional sprayers, and ladder work to reach high areas safely. Apply paint using brush, roller, or spray techniques including construction spray painting and industrial painting methods for a variety of surfaces. Perform structural painting tasks including stucco, plastering, and coating applications on both interior and exterior surfaces. Follow safety regulations diligently by utilizing respiratory protection, harnesses when working at heights, and adhering to all safety protocols on-site. Assist with renovation projects by installing fixtures, performing touch-ups, and maintaining existing painted surfaces through ongoing maintenance or remodeling efforts. Requirements Proven experience in residential or commercial painting, wallpaper installation, or related construction trades. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, paint sprayers (airless or conventional), and scaffolding or ladder use for high work areas. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings or specifications. Familiarity with construction site safety regulations including proper use of respiratory protection and adherence to safety protocols. Ability to perform surface preparation such as plastering, sanding, priming, and surface cleaning for optimal results. Strong understanding of color theory for visual color comparison and achieving desired aesthetic effects. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations; experience with remodeling or handyman tasks is a plus.
