Job Description

Overview Construction Worker/Helper Duties Assist with the installation of building materials such as drywall, flooring, tile, stucco, and cabinetry across diverse construction sites. Operate hand tools and power tools safely to support carpentry, masonry, framing, and finishing tasks. Support the setup and operation of heavy equipment for excavation, lifting, and site preparation. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks. Perform outdoor work including site cleanup, material handling, and ensuring safety protocol adherence on active job sites. Assist with plumbing and electrical installations, including fixture setup and conduit routing under supervision. Support remodeling projects by performing tasks such as caulking, trim carpentry, window installation, and restoration work. Contribute to masonry and hardscape projects by mixing materials and laying bricks or stones as directed by supervisors. Follow safety guidelines diligently to maintain a secure working environment for all team members. Requirements Prior construction experience or a strong desire to learn the trade with a proactive attitude. Familiarity with construction management principles and ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints. Knowledge of building materials installation including drywall, flooring, tile laying, stucco, plastering, cabinetry, and masonry. Experience operating hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely on construction sites. Basic electrical knowledge and plumbing skills are preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential. Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions is highly valued. Ability to follow detailed instructions accurately while working efficiently in team environments. Strong commitment to safety protocols and quality standards throughout all phases of construction projects. Must have own Transportation Random Drug Screenings 20 to 40 hrs work week. $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
