Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and be a vital part of transforming blueprints into reality! In this energetic role, you will assist with a variety of hands-on tasks that keep construction projects moving forward efficiently and safely. Your contribution will help shape the infrastructure and spaces that communities rely on every day. Responsibilities Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, ensuring all safety protocols are followed. Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely to perform tasks such as concrete mixing, cutting, pouring, and finishing. Interpret construction plans and blueprints to accurately execute tasks like rebar installation, formwork construction, and metal stud framing. Prepare surfaces through plastering, stucco application, caulking, and flooring installation to meet project specifications. Support concrete work by handling concrete pouring, concrete pumping, concrete cutting, and finishing to achieve smooth surfaces. Assist with heavy lifting and material movement around the site while adhering to safety regulations. Collaborate with team members on renovation projects, ensuring quality workmanship in all aspects of construction work. Requirements Prior experience working on construction projects or in a similar labor-intensive environment. Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and proper use of hand tools and power tools. Experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, and concrete pouring is highly desirable. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and perform heavy lifting as needed. Strong work ethic with excellent attention to detail; ability to follow instructions precisely. Join us in building something great!
