In this energetic role, you will support skilled tradespeople by performing essential tasks on various construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality at every stage. Your hands-on work will involve heavy lifting, operating power tools, and assisting with concrete work, framing, and renovation efforts. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to impactful building projects. Duties Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including securing materials and equipment Operate hand tools and power tools safely to support carpentry, concrete pouring, cutting, finishing, and formwork construction Support rebar installation, metal stud framing, and concrete formwork to ensure structural integrity Mix, pour, and finish concrete using mixers, pumps, and finishing tools in accordance with project specifications Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute construction plans and specifications Perform heavy lifting of materials such as rebar, lumber, concrete blocks, and other supplies while adhering to safety protocols Follow all construction safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment to prevent accidents Experience Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades is mandatory Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not required Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and protocols is essential Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings is beneficial Hands-on experience with concrete forming, cutting, finishing, and pouring techniques is advantageous Experience with renovation projects or working in diverse construction environments will help you excel in this roleJoin us in building something great!
