In this entry-to-mid-level role, you will perform essential physical tasks to support heavy civil projects, including earthwork, utilities, and site preparation. You will operate hand and power tools, assist equipment operators, and help maintain a clean, hazard-free job site. Core Responsibilities

Site Preparation:

Dig trenches, clear brush, shovel dirt, and compact earth to prepare the ground for grading and utility installation.

Material Handling:

Load, unload, and move construction materials, tools, and pipes around the active job site.

Tool & Equipment Operation:

Safely operate hand and power tools, including jackhammers, tamping machines, concrete saws, and mowers.

Operator Assistance:

Signal heavy equipment operators (excavators, dozers) to guide movement and ensure precision work.

Safety & Maintenance:

Adhere to all OSHA safety rules, wear required PPE, and clean up debris to keep the job site safe and organized. Required Qualifications

Experience:

Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or outdoor manual labor is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate.

Physical Stamina:

Ability to stand, walk, kneel, and lift up to 50-70 lbs regularly throughout a shift.

Environmental Adaptability:

Able to work long hours outdoors under diverse weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).

Transportation:

Reliable transportation to get to and from various job site locations.
