Position Summary Zachry Construction is seeking a Heavy Construction Equipment Utility Laborer - Parts Runner to support operations at our regional equipment yard. This position involves performing general labor duties, assisting with equipment maintenance, and transporting parts from vendors throughout the assigned region. The ideal candidate will be dependable, safety-minded, and have experience working in a construction environment. What You'll Do Pick up parts and materials from vendors across the region as directed. Wash and clean construction equipment to ensure proper upkeep and presentation. Assist with general maintenance tasks and yard organization. Load, unload, and move construction materials and supplies. Operate hand and power tools, as well as other small equipment as required. Support other craft workers and assist with various site preparation tasks. Follow all company safety policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. General construction labor skills with knowledge of basic hand and power tools. Experience operating light equipment or yard vehicles preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety procedures. Physical ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and perform labor-intensive work. Dependable, self-motivated, and task-oriented. Must meet MVR requirements and qualify as an approved company driver. Team-oriented with a positive attitude and willingness to assist others.
