Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. This role involves supporting various construction projects by performing physical labor, operating tools and equipment, and assisting skilled tradespeople. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, safety awareness, and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic construction environment. Prior construction experience and knowledge of safety protocols are highly valued to ensure efficient project completion and adherence to industry standards. Duties Assist with the installation of formwork, rebar, and concrete pouring operations Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively Support masonry tasks such as bricklaying, stucco application, and stonework Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to follow project specifications Perform demolition, renovation, restoration, or new construction tasks as directed Handle heavy lifting and material movement around the site Mix, pour, and finish concrete surfaces including flooring, sidewalks, or foundations Install roofing materials, tile laying, flooring installation, or other finishing work Follow all safety protocols including OSHA regulations to maintain a safe work environment Assist with framing, metal stud framing, drywall installation, and other carpentry tasks Support site cleanup and ensure work areas are organized and hazard-free Skills Mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment operation Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Experience with concrete mixing, pouring, cutting, finishing, and formwork construction Knowledge of construction estimating and interpreting project plans and specifications Familiarity with heavy equipment operation such as cranes or concrete pumps (preferred) Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols Skilled in using hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills; power tools; welding equipment; tile cutters; etc. Experience with masonry techniques including rebar installation and metal stud framing Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods Knowledge of roofing systems, plastering techniques, caulking procedures, trim carpentry, stucco application Ability to interpret technical drawings including schematics for various systems Previous experience working on diverse construction projects including commercial or residential sites This position offers an opportunity to develop a comprehensive skill set in the construction industry while contributing to meaningful projects. Pay:
$24.09 - $29.01 per hour
