We are a California-based janitorial company seeking a motivated area manager who can handle a complex territory that extends throughout South Fresno/ Selma area in a retail environment. Ideal manager is experienced in handling a staff of 35+ employees. The "Central" Area Manager handles 18 accounts in the Fresno County.

Management:

Motivate and guide staff on a regular basis. Managers set the example. Employee recruiting, hiring, training, daily supervision as well as discipline and discharges with the support of HR. Uphold company policies and procedures as well as state/federal laws. Ability to fill out all necessary payroll/HR paperwork in English/Spanish. Report employee issues, violations, accident reports. Track employees' weekly hours for payroll purposes. Work with client on a daily basis to guarantee continued satisfaction. Conduct inspections of accounts on a monthly basis. Address quality discrepancies immediately with employees. Assure employee performance is consistent and prevent employee theft and or misuse of chemicals, supplies, equipment. Ensure janitors have necessary chemicals and supplies onsite. Perform cleaning activities as needs arise. Restrooms deep cleaning as assigned by client. Light equipment maintenance including floor equipment.

Skills needed:

Flexible schedule availability, good problem-solving skills, detail-oriented and self-motivated with ability to balance customer and employee demands. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Hard-working with positive attitude. Bilingual English-Spanish is a must. Smartphone proficient for email, texting. Ability to travel 100% in company vehicle.

Requirements:

3+ years of management in janitorial field. Valid Driver's License and able to drive company vehicles. Clear background check and verification of i9 eligibility. Drug-free testing. Compensation is salary based with additional monthly incentives and quarterly safety bonus + medical/dental 100% paid, company auto, paid vacation and sick days.
