Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Asphalt Foreman to lead and oversee asphalt paving projects from start to finish this is a working foreman position must have experience running the screed . This pivotal role involves managing construction crews, c, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining quality standards. The Asphalt Foreman will serve as the key point of contact on-site, driving project efficiency and fostering a collaborative team environment. Our company does work for municipalities and FDOT Responsibilities Lead and supervise asphalt paving crews, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, including OSHA and federal construction safety regulations. Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of paving operations. Manage daily on-site operations, including equipment setup, material delivery, and quality control measures. Conduct regular safety meetings, enforce safety standards, and maintain a safe work environment for all team members. Supervise crew management activities such as training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution. Ensure construction site compliance with all regulations while maintaining high standards of workmanship. Experience Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial asphalt paving projects with a strong background in construction site management. Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced environment with supervisory experience in a construction management role. Proficiency with construction management softw Strong understanding of OSHA standards, federal construction safety regulations, and construction safety management practices. Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings, and reviewing construction drawings for accuracy. Knowledge of pipeline installation processes is a plus along with the ability to operate testing equipment such as ohmmeters for quality control purposes. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to supervise crews effectively while maintaining high safety standards.
