This pivotal role involves coordinating on-site activities, managing teams, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high-quality roofing solutions on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction, roofing, and site management, with a passion for driving project success through proactive leadership and technical expertise.
EXPERIENCE WITH LOW SLOPE REQUIRED!
Duties Lead and supervise all aspects of commercial roofing projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution on construction sites. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth workflow and communication. Oversee daily site operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, building codes, and project specifications. Manage on-site teams by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and providing guidance on the use of hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment. Conduct regular inspections of work sites to ensure quality standards are met and troubleshoot issues promptly. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately interpret project requirements. Oversee the use of various construction techniques including roofing installation, metal stud framing, stucco application, caulking, trim carpentry, masonry work, welding, tile laying, and restoration efforts. Ensure proper handling of heavy lifting operations and the use of scaffolding or other safety equipment. Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, safety reports, change orders, and site logs. Enter all daily updates into CRM Requirements Proven experience in commercial roofing projects with strong site supervision skills. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and blueprint reading. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding setup, and heavy lifting techniques. Familiarity with various construction disciplines such as carpentry (including trim carpentry), masonry (including concrete forming), plumbing systems, metal stud framing, welding, tile laying, stucco application, restoration work, and schematics interpretation. Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately to guide project execution. Strong understanding of safety standards related to roofing and construction sites. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multiple teams effectively. Physical ability to perform demanding tasks including lifting heavy materials and working at heights in all weather conditions. Effective communication skills for collaborating with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members.
