SPORTS JOB RESPONSIBLITIES

Responsible for setting-up and tearing-down all event equipment and/or spaces. Ensuring all events start and end on time, as scheduled. Ensuring the safety and security of the facility for all participants. Ensuring facility cleanliness at all times. Assisting in traffic and crowd control during events. Reporting any facility or equipment irregularities, unsafe conditions or feedback to supervisor in writing. Following and enforcing all YMCA policies, rules, regulations and procedures, including emergency and safety procedures. Reporting all incidents/accidents on the appropriate form as required and provide to supervisor within 24 hours of event. Attending all required training sessions and scheduled meetings. Maintain prompt hours and follow established procedures for absences. Supporting Strong Community Campaign fundraising. All other duties as assigned.

Providing a quality support system for YMCA Sports and a positive environment for all program participants and observers.

Summary:

Under the direction of the Sports Director/Senior Program Director, the Event Staff / Sport Site Supervisor will ensure a quality experience and a positive environment by providing remarkable member experiences for Youth Sports.
