Position Summary Huot Construction & Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations on commercial and federal construction projects. This position is responsible for managing daily jobsite activities, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety standards, and ensuring quality workmanship. Candidates with
EM 385-1-1
experience, SSHO qualifications, and/or Quality Control Manager (QCM) certification are strongly encouraged to apply. Essential Responsibilities Manage all day-to-day field operations from mobilization through project closeout. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and project stakeholders. Maintain project schedules and develop short-term look-ahead schedules. Enforce company safety policies and project-specific safety requirements. Conduct daily jobsite inspections and document project progress. Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and safety meetings. Review plans, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and project documents. Identify and proactively resolve field conflicts and project risks. Ensure quality control standards are maintained throughout construction. Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and closeout activities. Utilize Procore for project documentation, reporting, and communication. Maintain accurate daily reports, safety documentation, and project records. Preferred Federal Project Experience U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Department of Defense (DoD) Federal and State Government Facilities Secure Facilities and Correctional Institutions Qualifications 5+ years of commercial construction superintendent experience. Strong knowledge of construction methods, scheduling, and project coordination. Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and contract documents. Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades. Strong leadership and communication skills. Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Office, and construction technology platforms. Valid driver's license and ability to travel as required. Preferred Certifications SSHO (Site Safety and Health Officer) QCM (Construction Quality Management for Contractors)

USACE CQM
Certification CHST, STSC, CSP, or related safety certifications (preferred) Travel & Location Requirement Must be willing and able to travel throughout Minnesota, Wisconsin, and the Upper Midwest as project assignments require. Candidates must be willing to relocate to, or maintain a residence within reasonable commuting distance of, the Minneapolis-Saint Paul metropolitan area. Extended travel and overnight stays may be required depending on project location and duration. Per diem and company travel policies apply to eligible projects.
