Qualifications include a minimum of a high school diploma. Experience in a leadership role and at least 5 years of experience in the field of development disabilities. Current certification in L1MA and CPR-FA preferred but not required. An effective leader is sought with a high level of creativity, energy and enthusiasm realizing the mood for the day is set by the attitude the staff displays.

Duties:

Responsible for direct oversight and direction of staff and consumers. Responsible for daily transportation schedules for consumers. Develop monthly calendars for meals and submit them to the supervisor by the 15th of each month. Develop a detailed activities plan for each day. Determines how to best teach the curriculum while understanding each person learns at a different pace and in different ways. Develop a calendar of events outside of the center that is varied and creative. Submit incident reports to the office and responsible parties as needed. Complete daily documentation of strategies outlined in each consumer's support plan. Complete monthly reports showing progress on strategies outlined in the support plan and submitted to the office and support coordinator by the 15th of each month. Maintains an inventory of food and office supplies and shops with consumers to make purchases as needed. Ensures property is clean at the end of each day and is securely locked when no one is on the premises. Works with staff to model teaching methods. Works well with a team. Other duties as assigned.
