Public Works Construction Project Manager Requirements:

5+ Years of experience as a Project Manager on commercial or institutional construction projects required Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred Public sector experience in New Jersey, including familiarity with public bidding law, prevailing wage and certified payroll required Ability to read and reconcile Architectural, Structural, Civil, and MEP documents required Strong written communication skills required Proficiency in a construction management software required (experience with Procore is preferred) Proficiency in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Excel is required Rewards for

Public Works Construction Project Manager Responsibilities:

Responsible for the commercial and contractual management of an assigned project from award through final closeout Conduct an independent review of the contract drawings and specifications to identify gaps, conflicts, coordination issues, and constructability concerns in advance of the work Verify and maintain subcontractor insurance, bonds, and compliance documentation Price, negotiate, and document change order requests, including labor, material, equipment, and time impact Manage the submittal and RFI process, including review, distribution, and tracking of response times Monitor progress against the schedule and address performance issues as they arise Please be on the lookout for a (774) area code calling you.
