Position Summary We are seeking an experienced construction leader to oversee projects from planning through completion while supporting and directing our superintendents in the field. This role combines the schedule, budget, contract, and client responsibilities of a project manager with the field leadership of a general superintendent. The right candidate can see the big picture across multiple projects, step in when a job needs help, and build a strong team without taking over every decision. Key Responsibilities Oversee multiple construction projects, keeping schedules, budgets, quality, and commitments on track. Oversee, and manage development phases. Work with GC contractors, civil engineers, and surveyors. Track schedule and budget revisions Lead, coach, and support field superintendents, helping them be accountable for field operations and project results. Work with superintendents and project teams to develop schedules, plan upcoming work, and resolve delays. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff. Review project costs, change orders, purchase commitments, and progress reports; identify problems early and develop solutions. Ensure superintendents have the information, materials, subcontractors, and support needed to keep work moving. Visit jobsites regularly to assess progress, workmanship, safety practices, and staffing needs. Help resolve field conflicts and make timely decisions when issues affect cost, schedule, quality, or client relationships. Maintain clear project records and ensure the team uses company software for schedules, daily reports, drawings, RFIs, photos, and communication. Participate in hiring, training, and developing field personnel. Lead project closeout, including punch lists, inspections, documentation, and turnover. Qualifications Significant experience as a construction superintendent, project manager, or in a comparable leadership role. Demonstrated ability to lead other superintendents and oversee more than one project at a time. Strong understanding of construction sequencing in a production home setting, schedules, budget principles, subcontractor coordination, and field operations. Ability to communicate clearly with field teams, office staff, clients, and outside partners. Comfortable using computers and construction management software, and willing to learn new systems. Sound judgment, strong follow-through, and the ability to address problems directly and constructively. What Success Looks Like Projects are well planned and managed, superintendents know what is expected of them, problems are raised early, and clients receive timely, accurate communication. The person in this role strengthens the field team while taking ownership of overall project results.
