FOGG About the Company A prominent and industry leading Industrial Developer and Design-Builder in Northeast Ohio for the last six decades. The company delivers industrial, commercial, and office projects providing integrated services from planning, engineering, and construction. Position Overview The Project Manager will directly oversee and be responsible for the overall success of construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the construction project from preconstruction through closeout ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and overall budget. Responsibilities Demonstrates a high standard of accountability and integrity that aligns with company's core values. Define and write specific project scopes of work for all trades on the project. Create a construction detailed take-off estimate. Create and manage a construction project budget. Perform constructability reviews during preconstruction and work with design and engineering team. Ability to procure competitive bids from subcontractors, perform scope reviews, and negotiate final awards to Subcontractors and material suppliers. Develop a construction schedule, detailing project deliverables, milestones, and actual start/finish dates. Coordinate all work on-site with Subcontractors. Enforce company safety requirements and compliance. Manage quality control and quality assurance plan. Lead coordination and pre-installation meetings with Subcontractors. Assist in obtaining building permits from local jurisdictions and coordinating on-site inspections. Coordinate building utilities with suppliers. Submittal coordination and review. Review monthly invoicing for accuracy. Ability to handle difficult situations on the project and proactively work towards a solution. Skills & Qualifications Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, structural engineering, or a related field. 5-15 years of experience in the construction industry, ideally in a project manager or superintendent role. Experience in industrial or commercial construction. Detail oriented. Ability to work independently. Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite. Work Environment This role will involve majority of time on-site at construction sites. The anticipated start date is negotiable.
Job Location Northeast Ohio Pay:
$85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
