Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Shift Leader to oversee daily operations on our construction sites. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a hands-on approach to managing tasks. This role requires a solid understanding of various construction processes, including fencing concrete finishing, and landscape maintenance. As a Shift Leader, you will ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the activities of crews on-site. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and regulations at all times. Oversee heavy lifting and equipment operation while maintaining safety standards. Provide training and support to team members in set skills Monitor project progress and report any issues or delays to management. Maintain effective communication with team members and other stakeholders. Assist in the planning and execution of daily tasks to meet project deadlines. Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure it meets company standards. Experience Proven experience in a leadership role within the construction industry is preferred. Strong background in fencing, masonry, or construction oelated fields. Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safety practices on construction sites. Experience in landscape maintenance is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while leading by example. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
