Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Site Superintendent to lead and oversee construction of C Store and Gas Station in Cleveland, TX. This will be a complete grounds up project. The Civil works will all be from inception to finish, which includes sanitary system, storm drain system, detention pond, pavement and demo of existing facilities. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership will drive team collaboration, enforce safety protocols, and manage project schedules effectively. Duties Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, schematics, and blueprints. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth workflow and communication. Oversee safety compliance through regular inspections and enforcement of safety protocols are followed. Manage project schedules to ensure timely completion. Monitor project budgets and costs, including budgeting and construction estimating, to prevent overruns. Conduct quality control inspections to verify work meets specifications and industry standards. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately for on-site execution. Lead team supervision by managing labor force productivity, resolving on-site issues promptly, and maintaining a safe working environment. Requirements Proven experience in construction site management with a strong background in C Store, Retail Building and Civil Works. Demonstrated supervising experience with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively. Strong understanding of contracts, project scheduling, budgeting, and construction estimating processes. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with precision. Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety protocols specific to construction sites. Hands-on experience with construction site activities including quality control procedures. Ability to work under tight construction schedule. Excellent management skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making in fast-paced environments. Strong communication skills for coordinating with multiple stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, vendors, and team members.
