Paint Foreman / Assistant Superintendent 5+ years of painting experience needed Position Summary The paint foreman is responsible for leading and managing painting crews to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule and to Allied Painters' quality standards. This position serves a field leader with responsibility for crew productivity, workmanship, communication, customer satisfaction, and accountability. The foreman leads by example, assists in developing crew members, protects company assets, and ensures all work represents Allied Painters' quality and core values. Core Responsibilities Crew Leadership Daily activities of assigned crew Assist in coordinating work according to schedule and deadlines Train and mentor other painters Hold crew members accountable for quality and productivity Promote team work and professionalism Address performance concerns immediately and report to the superintendent Project Management Review daily plan with superintendent Verify materials Ensure readiness Coordinate schedule changes with the superintendent Assist in identifying potential delays before they become a problem Complete projects on time Quality Control Inspect work before requesting walk through with superintendent Ensure surfaces are properly prepared Verify proper application Maintain clean cut lines Prevent overspray and damage Correct deficiencies Safety Assist in conducting daily safety discussions Ensure proper PPE is being worn Assist in inspecting ladders and equipment Report incidents to superintendent immediately Assist in maintaining a clean and organized job site. Communication Maintain communication with superintendent Provide daily updates Report material needs Communicate concerns immediately Production Assist in meeting production goals while maintaining quality Meet daily production targets Lead crew(s) in production painting Customer Service Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor Treat all employees, customers, and trades with respect Assist in resolving minor issues Escalate major concerns to superintendent, immediately Administrative Responsibilities Assist in daily reporting Assist in material requests Assist in quality control Manage punchlists Minimum Qualifications 5+ years professional painting experience Leadership experience, preferred Valid Driver's License Strong communication skills Ability to lift 50+ pounds Ability to work from ladders/lifts, etc. Required Skills Leadership Time Management Organization Problem Solving Attention to detail Professional communication Conflict resolution Performance Expectations Delivers high quality workmanship Assists in maintaining productive crews Schedule driven Maintains safe job sites Assists in the training and development of painters/helpers
Pay:
$21.00 - $24.00 per hour
