This role ensures installations meet manufacturer specifications and company quality standards, resolves field issues before they escalate, enforces jobsite safety, and acts as the main point of contact between crews, customers, and the division office. Essential Duties & Responsibilities 1. Field Supervision & Quality Control Conduct daily site inspections to verify installations meet manufacturer specifications and company quality standards (siding, stucco/EIFS, house wrap/WRB, flashing, anchor points, and related exterior scopes). Identify and correct quality issues — including paint, stucco, and finish touch-ups — before they reach the customer. Complete punch lists and follow-up repairs in a timely manner. Lead pre-work walk-throughs to confirm scope, plan accuracy, and material requirements before installation begins. 2. Planning & Coordination Plan daily and weekly schedules, confirming crew assignments, job start dates, and locations in advance. Verify materials, purchase orders, and job requirements are in place before crews arrive on site. Coordinate across crews, subcontractors, and the division office to keep jobs on schedule. Maintain accurate, up-to-date job records using company systems (e.g., TrackVia). 3. Safety Enforce company safety policy and OSHA requirements on all job sites. Conduct safety inspections and audits; ensure required tags and documentation are current. Model safe behavior and proactively coach crews on safe practices, not just minimum compliance. Report and follow up on safety incidents. 4. Customer Relations Serve as the primary field point of contact for customers, addressing concerns and resolving issues before they escalate. Communicate proactively with customers, providing updates and answers before questions arise. Use sound judgment to de-escalate concerns and resolve issues independently when appropriate. 5. Team Leadership & Development Directly manage and coach field crews, installers, and assistant(s). Delegate tasks effectively, keeping the team productively engaged. Hold crews and subcontractors accountable to quality and schedule expectations, with consistent follow-up. Lead by example in professionalism, work ethic, and safety. 6. Material & Administrative Management Order and manage materials, purchase orders, and job-related purchases. Accurately share job status and updates with the division office. Maintain organized documentation of inspections, job status, and communications. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to proactively update customers, crews, and office personnel, and respond quickly to issues. Strong organizational skills and the ability to plan and prioritize a variable daily schedule across multiple job sites. Sound judgment and problem-solving ability in the field, including the ability to make independent decisions. Ability to manage multiple job sites, tasks, and priorities simultaneously without becoming overwhelmed. Ability to read and interpret construction plans, scopes of work, and material lists (or ability to learn quickly). Working knowledge of OSHA safety requirements and the ability to enforce safety standards. Strong sense of ownership, integrity, and personal accountability. Ability to lead, coach, and hold crews and subcontractors accountable. Valid driver's license and ability to travel between job sites daily. High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Prior experience in exterior construction, siding, stucco, or a related trade. Familiarity with manufacturer installation specifications for siding and stucco/EIFS systems. Prior supervisory or crew-lead experience. Experience with project tracking or field management software. Education & Experience High school diploma or equivalent required. Physical Requirements & Work Environment Regularly works outdoors at active construction sites in varying weather conditions. Frequently drives between multiple job sites within a single day.
