Job Description Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Construction Manager to lead data center construction projects from pre-construction through commissioning. You will manage schedules, budgets, and contractors, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with building codes and AWS standards. Partner with design, operations, and networking teams to deliver scalable, resilient infrastructure. In AWS's customer-obsessed, innovative culture, you will own complex problems, drive continuous improvement, and help shape next-generation cloud infrastructure for millions of global customers. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end data center construction projects from pre-construction through commissioning Manage project budgets, schedules, and reporting for multiple concurrent sites Oversee general contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality and safety Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and AWS design and safety standards Collaborate with design, operations, and networking teams to coordinate scope and milestones Identify and mitigate construction risks, issues, and change orders Review drawings, specifications, and RFIs to drive constructability and value engineering Champion a strong safety culture and enforce OSHA and site safety requirements Required Skills Construction project management Data center/Mission-critical facility construction Budgeting and cost control Project scheduling (Primavera/MS Project) Contract and vendor management Risk management Building codes and safety compliance Technical drawings and specifications review Stakeholder communication Change management
