Summary A well-established commercial construction company is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee a large-scale resort development project in Stowe, Vermont. The ideal candidate is a seasoned construction professional with strong leadership skills, the ability to effectively manage diverse teams and subcontractors, and a proven track record of delivering commercial construction projects safely, on schedule, and within budget. Responsibilities Manage all day-to-day field operations. Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to maintain project schedules and productivity. Work closely with the Project Manager to ensure successful execution of all phases of construction. Enforce safety standards and ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep work on track. Conduct daily site meetings and maintain clear communication with project stakeholders. Ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications. Foster a collaborative and professional work environment while effectively managing individuals with diverse backgrounds and personalities. Maintain accurate daily reports, schedules, and project documentation. Qualifications Minimum of 15 years of commercial construction experience. Proven experience serving as a Superintendent on large commercial construction projects. Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated success managing subcontractors and field crews with varying personalities and work styles. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work closely with project management and ownership representatives. Experience with resort, hospitality, multi-family, high-rise, or large commercial developments is highly preferred. Spanish-speaking ability is a significant plus.

Pay:

$120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
