Ramos CS is providing field engineering support across the site's four power turbine trains, thermal storage systems, and interconnection infrastructure. The Field Engineer will be on-site fulltime, supporting daily construction activities, inspections, and quality documentation. Conduct daily field inspections of construction activities, verifying conformance with plans, specifications, and project quality standards. Perform or oversee geotechnical field testing, including soil compaction, materials testing, and earthwork verification. Document field conditions, discrepancies, and construction progress through daily reports. Support land development activities including grading, drainage, and site utility installation oversight. Coordinate with contractors and engineering staff to resolve field issues and support RFI responses. Maintain accurate field records, photographs, and inspection logs in accordance with project requirements. Promote a Safety First approach on all site activities. Support QA/QC processes for materials and installed work. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent combination of training and experience). 4 to 7 years of experience in geotechnical, inspection, and/or land development work. Ability to be on-site in the field 100% of the time. Strong working knowledge of construction documents, plans, and specifications. Ability to read, write and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions. Professional Engineer (PE) license or EIT status — not required, but preferred. Experience on heavy industrial, energy, or utility-scale construction projects. Cal OSHA 30-hour Construction training.

Compensation:

$94,000 to $135,000 per year (depending on qualifications)
