GPIseeks transportation construction inspectors formunicipal and state transportation construction projects in various locations around New York State. You will be responsible for reviewing plans, documenting work activities and quantities calculated, and inspecting work to assure conformance with approved plans and specifications. Responsibilities:
Review of plans, documentation of work activities as well as quantity calculationsInspection of work to ensure conformance with approved plans and specifications, including field inspection and office engineering
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will have experience working with NYSDOT Standard Specifications for Construction and Materials and NYSDOT Manual of Uniform Record Keeping (MURK)Candidates with standard industry certifications from NICET, ACI, NACE, NETTCP, or ATSSA are preferredCandidates should also have good oral and written communication skills
