Foreman / Operator - Drilling Crew (Pressure Digger) Job Summary DeMoya Highway Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Foreman / Operator to lead our drilling crew specializing in drilled shaft foundations and CCTV Pole installations. This is a hands-on leadership position responsible for supervising field personnel while operating a pressure digger and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance to project specifications. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated leader with experience in heavy civil construction, utility work, drilled shaft installation, crane operations, and equipment management. Primary Responsibilities Operate a pressure digger for drilled shaft construction and CCTV pole installations. Supervise and lead drilling crew members in daily field operations. Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily work activities to maintain production schedules. Perform pre-job planning and conduct daily safety meetings. Read and Interpret construction drawings, utility plans, and project specifications. Operate and inspect drilling equipment to ensure proper performance and maintenance. Set drilled shaft casing, reinforce cages, and prepare foundations for pole installations. Coordinate lifting operations and safely perform crane picks. Maintain accurate daily reports, equipment inspections, and production records. Ensure Compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Troubleshoot field issues and make sound decisions to keep projects moving efficiently. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in drilled shaft construction or heavy civil construction . Experience operating pressure diggers or similar drilling equipment. Previous experience as a Foreman or Crew Leader. Valid Class
A CDL NCCCO
Certified Crane Operator (or equivalent nationally recognized certification. Strong Knowledge of drilled installation methods and construction practices. Ability to work outdoors in varying, weather conditions. Willingness to travel to projects sites throughout Florida and work overtime or nights as required. Preferred Qualifications Experience installing CCTV poles, roadway lighting poles, utility structures. Experience with utility construction and underground infrastructure. Knowledge of FDOT standards and MOT requirements. OSHA certifications Rigging and signaling certification. Heavy equipment maintenance experience.
