Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Water Well Driller and play a vital role in constructing high-quality water wells that serve communities, agricultural operations, and industrial clients. In this energetic position, you will operate heavy machinery, oversee drilling operations, and ensure safety compliance throughout each project. Your expertise will help deliver reliable water solutions while maintaining the highest standards of safety and efficiency. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work outdoors, utilize mechanical skills, and contribute to essential infrastructure projects. Duties Operate drilling rigs and auxiliary equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and other construction machinery to drill water wells efficiently and accurately. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety adherence. Follow state and federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and team members. Perform utility locating to identify underground utilities before drilling or excavation begins, preventing damage or accidents. Assist with excavation and construction grading tasks to prepare sites for well installation. Drive commercial trucks and transport equipment, materials, and personnel safely between job sites while adhering to all traffic laws and safety standards. Support construction utility work by coordinating with team members to execute project plans effectively and efficiently. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and drilling rigs in a construction setting. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic maintenance on machinery and troubleshoot issues promptly. Valid commercial driver's license with experience in commercial truck driving preferred. Strong understanding of construction site safety regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety protocols. Ability to perform utility locating accurately using specialized tools and techniques. Construction experience with emphasis on drilling , grading, utility work, and site preparation. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and following detailed instructions effectively. Pay:
$25.00 - $90.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 80.0 per week
