Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Drywaller to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and finishing drywall surfaces across a variety of commercial and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that all drywall work is completed efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with safety standards and project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality construction projects while honing your craft in a fast-paced environment. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to determine drywall installation requirements. Measure, cut, and install drywall panels using hand tools and power tools with precision. Perform drywall mudding, taping, texturing, and finishing to achieve smooth surfaces ready for painting or further finishing. Repair damaged drywall or existing surfaces through patching, sanding, and refinishing techniques. Install metal stud framing, trim carpentry elements, doors, fixtures, and other related components as specified in construction plans. Follow strict safety protocols and workplace safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment at all times. Collaborate with other trades such as plumbing, masonry, flooring installers, and painters to ensure seamless project completion. Requirements Proven experience as a Drywaller or in a similar construction role with a focus on drywall installation and finishing. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, blueprint reading, and interpreting technical drawings. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, airless paint spraying equipment, and other relevant construction tools. Familiarity with drywall texturing techniques such as stucco or plastering for aesthetic finishes. Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations including OSHA standards or equivalent safety protocols. Ability to perform drywall repair, mudding, taping, caulking, and water damage restoration effectively. Experience with metal stud framing, fixture installation, tile laying, flooring installation, and masonry is a plus. Excellent attention to detail combined with the ability to work efficiently on multiple projects simultaneously.
