Responsibilities Assess damaged drywall areas and develop effective patching and repair strategies based on construction plans and schematics Prepare surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and applying primer to ensure optimal adhesion for drywall mudding and painting Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to install drywall sheets, metal stud framing, or repair water damage and mold issues Apply drywall mud using taping techniques, texturing methods, and finishing techniques to achieve seamless surfaces Execute painting tasks including priming, water-based or airless paint spraying, and detailed trim carpentry for a polished look Follow safety protocols diligently by adhering to construction workplace safety regulations during all phases of work Interpret technical drawings, schematics, or blueprints to accurately execute drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, or fixture installation projects Qualifications Proven experience in drywall installation, patching, texturing, and painting within the construction or restoration industry Strong knowledge of construction estimating processes and reading blueprints or technical drawings accurately Familiarity with construction site safety regulations and the ability to implement safety protocols consistently Skilled in using hand tools such as putty knives, sanders, trowels, caulking guns, as well as power tools like drills and spray guns Experience with related trades such as framing carpentry, flooring installation, masonry, tile laying or plastering is a plus Ability to interpret schematics and technical plans for precise project execution Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality workmanship in fast-paced environments Join us if you're passionate about transforming spaces through expert drywall patching and painting!
