Duties Perform window cleaning on high-rise buildings using rope access techniques, scaffolding, or scissor lifts to reach elevated surfaces safely. Utilize pressure washers designed for window cleaning to remove dirt, grime, and environmental buildup from storefronts and building exteriors. Conduct interior and exterior window cleaning using traditional squeegee methods, ensuring streak-free finishes on skylights, glass facades, and residential windows. Operate various cleaning equipment including telescopic poles, ladders, and specialized tools while adhering strictly to safety protocols. Clean storefront windows and other glass surfaces in commercial settings to maintain a pristine appearance that attracts customers. Apply personal protective equipment (PPE) consistently to safeguard against hazards associated with outdoor work at heights. Perform routine maintenance of cleaning tools and equipment such as pressure washers, squeegees, and safety harnesses to ensure optimal performance. Follow all safety procedures diligently during outdoor work activities, including rope access procedures and ladder use for residential or commercial window cleaning projects. Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs and deliver outstanding customer service during each job site visit. Experience Prior experience in high-rise window cleaning or related outdoor cleaning roles is highly preferred. Demonstrated proficiency with traditional squeegee window cleaning methods and the use of pressure washers for exterior surfaces. Experience working at heights using rope access techniques, scaffolding, or scissor lifts is essential. Knowledge of safety protocols related to high-rise building maintenance, including PPE use and fall protection measures. Background in janitorial or custodial services with a focus on commercial or residential window cleaning is advantageous.
