Jobsite:

Multiple Locations•Corpus Christi, TX Experience Related work experience helpful. Able to lift up to 50lbs frequently required.

Duties:

prepares interior walls and ceilings by taping seams, applying joint compound ("mud"), and sanding surfaces to create a smooth, paint-ready surface. Core Responsibilities

Tape and Mud:

Apply paper or fiberglass mesh tape over drywall joints, and spread multiple layers of joint compound over seams, screw holes, and corners.

Sand and Smooth:

Use hand sanders or pole sanders between compound coats to eliminate bumps, ridges, and tool marks.

Install Trim and Beads:

Fit metal or plastic corner beads and trims to protect and define sharp edges.

Match Textures:

Apply orange peel, knockdown, popcorn, or custom wall textures to match existing surroundings.

Achieve Finish Levels:

Deliver specified finish standards, ranging from basic fire-taping to a flawless Level 5 skim coat.

Repair and Patch:

Fix cracks, holes, water damage, or nail pops in older or damaged drywall.
