Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Drywall Repair Technician to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and finishing drywall surfaces across various residential and commercial projects. Responsibilities Assess damage or imperfections in drywall surfaces through visual inspection and interpret technical drawings or schematics to determine repair needs Prepare surfaces by removing damaged drywall, sanding, and cleaning areas prior to repair or installation Measure, cut, and install drywall panels using hand tools and power tools such as saws, drills, and screw guns Apply drywall mud (joint compound), tape seams, and sand surfaces to achieve a smooth finish suitable for painting or texturing Perform drywall texturing techniques to match existing finishes on walls and ceilings Repair water damage or mold-affected drywall by removing compromised sections and restoring structural integrity Install trim carpentry, caulking, or fixtures as needed to complete finishing touches on drywall projects Requirements Proven experience in drywall installation, repair, mudding, taping, and texturing within a construction environment Strong knowledge of construction plans, blueprints reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Ability to operate hand tools such as knives, trowels, hammers, screwdrivers as well as power tools including drills, saws, airless paint sprayers when applicable Construction site experience with skills in framing (metal stud framing), plastering, masonry, remodeling or flooring installation is highly desirable Knowledge of related trades such as carpentry, plumbing (including water damage restoration), painting (including airless spray), tile laying or stucco work is a plus Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical instructions accurately Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials safely Our ideal candidate is energetic with a passion for craftsmanship who thrives in fast-paced environments. Pay:
