Our Helpers are an integral piece of our work on a daily basis. Some of your daily functions will include: Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision Assistwelders, fitters, pipefitters, electricians, and other trades as directed Move, stage, and secure materials, tools, and equipment throughout the shipyard Clean and prepare work areas, including ships, compartments, and shop spaces Grind, chip, and remove slag, rust, paint, or debris as instructed Set up and break down work platforms, scaffolding, and temporary structures Operate basic hand tools and power tools under supervision Support hot work, confined space, and shipboard operations per safety procedures Follow all shipyard safety rules, PPE requirements, and environmental regulations Perform fire watch duties when qualified Assistwith rigging, lifting, and material handling operations If you possess a High School Diploma or GED and fundamental knowledge in marine or manufacturing industry, we want to talk to you!
