Duties Assist licensed electricians with installing electrical systems according to blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications. Prepare work areas by setting up tools, materials, and equipment needed for electrical tasks. Support conduit bending, electrical wiring, and electrical system installation activities on construction sites. Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to ensure accurate installation. Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, stripping, and connecting wires. Follow all electrical safety procedures and protocols, including NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code) compliance for safe work practices. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols related to high voltage and low voltage electrical systems. Experience Prior experience working with industrial or commercial electricians is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided. Familiarity with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards is a plus. Hands-on experience with conduit bending, electrical wiring, blueprint reading, and schematic interpretation is highly desirable. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters (for measuring electrical resistance), and other testing equipment safely. Construction site experience or previous work in the construction industry is beneficial. Knowledge of electrical safety procedures related to high voltage and low voltage systems is essential. Basic understanding of framing carpentry can be advantageous for supporting various installation tasks.

Pay:

$24.00 - $26.00 per hour
