In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Your expertise will help optimize plant performance, minimize downtime, and uphold safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of industrial electrical systems, contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, and develop your technical skills in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and equipment using precision measuring instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, and ohmmeters. Troubleshoot electrical issues using schematics, blueprints, and engineering troubleshooting techniques to identify root causes quickly. Repair or replace faulty components in electrical systems, including motors, switches, relays, wiring, and control panels. Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks. Conduct diagnostics on programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial control systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, HVAC/R systems, and other specialized equipment. Assist with equipment upgrades or modifications to improve efficiency and safety standards while adhering to electrical blueprints and schematics. Operate field service tools such as scissor lifts safely for elevated maintenance tasks while maintaining compliance with safety protocols. Skills Extensive experience working in manufacturing facilities with a strong understanding of industrial maintenance practices. Proficiency in electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting pneumatic systems, hydraulics, and mechanical components. Skilled in reading electrical schematics and blueprints accurately for effective repairs and installations. Hands-on experience with welding techniques including stick welding for repairs requiring metal fabrication. Knowledge of HVAC/R systems combined with the ability to troubleshoot related issues efficiently. Familiarity with industrial electrician responsibilities including equipment repair, electrical system maintenance, and field service operations. Ability to operate testing instruments such as voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters effectively for precise analysis. Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills in English to collaborate across teams and document work clearly. Experience with engineering troubleshooting methods to resolve complex electrical problems swiftly. Ability to work safely at heights using scissor lifts or other elevated platforms while adhering to safety standards.
