Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Maintenance/Grounds Flexible Part-Time technician, where your skills will keep our facilities running smoothly and beautifully! This role offers a lively, hands-on environment focused on maintaining and repairing building systems, grounds, and facilities equipment. Whether you're working on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, or carpentry projects, your contributions will ensure a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for all. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical equipment, plumbing systems, HVAC units, and building interior components to ensure optimal operation. Conduct inspections of facilities equipment using schematics and technical manuals; troubleshoot issues with hand tools and electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters. Carry out carpentry tasks including repairs, installations, and painting to maintain the aesthetic and structural integrity of the facility. Maintain company owned homes lots only by performing landscaping tasks, grounds cleaning, and minor repairs to uphold safety standards and visual appeal. Assist with maintenance painting projects; ensure facilities are clean, safe, and well-maintained in accordance with safety protocols. Qualifications Proven experience in general maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO), including electrical work, plumbing, HVAC system repair, and building interior maintenance. Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with hand tools, schematics interpretation, and electrical equipment repair. Knowledge of HVAC systems including troubleshooting and repair techniques; familiarity with HVAC systems is highly desirable. Ability to read technical schematics and use testing instruments such as ohmmeters for diagnostics. Experience with welding, carpentry, painting (including residential painting), and facilities maintenance tasks. Excellent communication skills in English; capable of providing clear instructions or updates to team members or supervisors. Demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience in maintenance settings is a plus. Valid experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is preferred but not required.
