In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting low voltage systems across various marine vehicles. Your expertise will ensure the reliable operation of critical communication and data infrastructure. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, from network installation to Navigation Systems, all while delivering exceptional service to clients and team members alike. Responsibilities Install, test, and troubleshoot low voltage marine systems including Radars, Sonars, Radio Communications, Stereo Systems, Lighting, and any electrical components required for the safe operation of Marine Vessels Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately complete installations and repairs. Perform network setup and configuration for Suzuki SMG4 Gauges, SimRads, Garmins, and other networking hardware to ensure optimal performance. Conduct field service visits to diagnose issues, perform repairs, and provide technical support at client sites. Install cabling such as NMEA Systems, RGB Lighting, and Marine Grade Wiring following NEC (National Electrical Code) standards for safety and compliance. Use hand tools and power tools safely to install electrical components and troubleshoot electrical circuits with ohmmeters and other testing devices. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including service reports, system configurations, and inspection logs. Skills Strong knowledge of low voltage electrical systems. Experience with network installation involving NMEA Communications Systems Proficiency in reading schematics and technical diagrams related to telecommunication wiring and electrical layouts. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients and team members. Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, equipment repair tools safely while adhering to NEC standards.
