ASAP The Opportunity Kodiak Labor Solutions is seeking experienced Licensed Journey-Level Electricians for a 6-month data center construction project in Cedar Rapids, Iowa . This opportunity is ideal for electricians with commercial or industrial construction experience who are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and performing electrical installation work to applicable codes, specifications, and safety standards. Compensation & Project Highlights $60/hour $125/day per diem for qualified travelers Approximately 58 hours per week Approximately 6-month project duration Weekly pay Consistent overtime opportunities Large-scale data center construction Immediate openings Key Responsibilities Install conduit, cable tray, raceways, and electrical support systems Pull, route, terminate, and test power and control wiring Install switchgear, transformers, panelboards, and related electrical equipment Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications Perform electrical installations in accordance with NEC requirements Inspect completed work for quality and proper installation Maintain a clean and safe work area Follow all site-specific safety procedures and project requirements Qualifications Active Iowa Journey-Level Electrician License or qualifying reciprocal state license Previous commercial or industrial electrical construction experience Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and specifications Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes and safe work practices Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen Strong commitment to safety, quality, and dependable workmanship Work Environment This position is based on an active data center construction site and requires the ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced commercial construction environment.
