Job Description

Journeyman Electrician Idaho Electrical Solutions LLC. Meridian, ID Job Details Full-time $38 - $45 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Company truck Paid holidays Paid time off Qualifications Customer communication Customer service Driver's License Construction plans Blueprint dimension interpretation Journeyman Electrician Mentoring Electrical maintenance Full Job Description Job Overview Job Summary Idaho Electrical Solutions is a licensed and insured electrical contractor serving residential, commercial, and telecom clients across the Treasure Valley. We handle everything from service calls and troubleshooting to full-scale installations, remodels, tenant improvements, and cell tower electrical work. Our team focuses on High Quality workmanship, safe practices, and reliable communication. We are looking for a licensed journeyman electrician who can take a job from prints to final inspection without being managed through it. This is a hands-on role with real ownership — you'll run your own work, and as we grow there's a clear path to leading a crew. Duties Run assigned jobs independently from layout through completion — residential, commercial, industrial, and telecom. Read and interpret blueprints, one-lines, panel schedules, and site drawings. Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical systems, services, and gear. Perform conduit layout and bending, grounding, terminations, and equipment installation. Diagnose and troubleshoot using meters and standard diagnostic tools. Direct and mentor apprentices on the job site. Ensure work meets NEC requirements, passes inspection, and holds up to our standards. Plan material needs ahead of the job and communicate shortfalls before they stall the work. Close out your jobs — punch list complete, site clean, customer or GC informed. Participate in safety meetings and follow all company safety protocols. Qualifications Current Idaho journeyman electrician license required (or a license from a reciprocal state you're able to convert). Valid driver's license with a record insurable under our commercial policy. Able to read prints and lay out your own work without direct supervision. Solid working knowledge of the NEC and Idaho code requirements. Reliable and punctual. We staff jobs around the people we expect to be there. Able to communicate professionally with customers, general contractors, and other trades. Telecom or cell tower experience is a plus, but we will train the right person.
