Overview Join our dynamic team as an Electrician and become a vital contributor to our construction and maintenance projects across diverse industrial and commercial settings. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems that power buildings, machinery, and infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with electrical codes and standards. Responsibilities Install, wire, and connect electrical systems in accordance with blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters, ammeters, and power tools to diagnose faults accurately. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. Read and interpret construction blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide installation and repair tasks. Work safely on construction sites by adhering to OSHA regulations, NEC (National Electrical Code) standards, and low/high voltage safety protocols. Use hand tools and power tools efficiently for cutting, bending, assembling, and installing electrical components. Collaborate with construction teams including frame carpenters and other trades to coordinate work sequences effectively. Conduct testing of electrical circuits using specialized instruments like ammeters and ohmmeters to verify proper operation. Maintain detailed records of work performed, including inspection reports, incident logs, and compliance documentation. Assist in the reading of schematics for complex electrical systems involving low voltage and high voltage applications. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations related to construction site environments and electrical standards. Experience Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings is essential; familiarity with construction site environments is highly preferred. Hands-on experience working with low voltage systems as well as high voltage installations is required for this role. Skilled in reading blueprints, schematics, technical diagrams, and construction plans accurately. Proficiency with hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wire strippers alongside power tools used for electrical work. Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code) standards governing electrical installations in various environments. Experience working with test instruments including ohmmeters and ammeters to troubleshoot electrical circuits effectively. Ability to work safely at heights or in confined spaces typical of construction sites while maintaining strict safety protocols. Construction site experience demonstrating adaptability to dynamic work environments while adhering to project timelines. Knowledge of frame carpentry is a plus for understanding structural aspects related to electrical installations.
