The ideal candidate will have experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems in commercial buildings and facilities. The successful applicant will be committed to quality workmanship, safety, and compliance with applicable electrical codes. Responsibilities Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair commercial electrical systems. Install electrical wiring, lighting, panels, transformers, conduit, and related equipment. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical plans, and schematics. Perform electrical installations for new construction, renovations, and tenant improvements. Diagnose electrical issues and complete repairs efficiently. Install and connect commercial lighting and electrical equipment. Perform electrical testing, inspections, and preventive maintenance. Work with conduit, cable, junction boxes, switchgear, and distribution equipment. Follow the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, OSHA requirements, and company safety procedures. Coordinate work with general contractors, subcontractors, and other trades. Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used. Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe. Qualifications Previous commercial electrical experience preferred. Electrical license or certification required where applicable. Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and equipment. Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics. Proficiency with electrical hand tools and testing equipment. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
