We are seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician who takes pride in quality work, enjoys leading by example, and thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Position Summary The Journeyman Electrician will play a key role in the installation and execution of residential electrical systems while helping lead field crews on high-end custom home projects. This position requires strong technical expertise in both high- and low-voltage systems, excellent communication with builders and other trades, and the ability to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Lead and mentor electricians and apprentices on residential job sites. Install, troubleshoot, and maintain residential electrical systems in luxury custom homes. Work with both high-voltage and low-voltage systems, including lighting, controls, and integrated technologies. Coordinate daily activities with project managers, builders, and other trades to maintain project schedules. Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications. Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and company quality standards. Perform inspections, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical installations. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. Provide exceptional customer service while representing the company professionally. Qualifications Journeyman Electrician license (or ability to obtain in accordance with state requirements). Minimum of 5 years of residential electrical experience , preferably in custom homes. Extensive knowledge of residential electrical systems, including both high- and low-voltage applications. Proven leadership experience directing crews or mentoring apprentices. Strong communication skills with builders, general contractors, homeowners, and fellow trades. Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Preferred Qualifications Experience with lighting control systems, home automation, or integrated technology. Familiarity with Control4, Lutron, or similar smart home platforms. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification.
