Power River is a local residential electrical and generator company serving homeowners throughout the Tri-State area. We handle electrical repairs, panel and service replacements, generator installations, and other home upgrades. Role:
We're looking for a skilled Journeyman or Master Electrician to join our residential install team. We help homeowners improve the safety, reliability, and functionality of their electrical systems. We are looking for a self-starter who takes pride in quality work, works efficiently, and can represent the company professionally inside customers' homes. What You'll Do Complete residential electrical panel and service replacements Install and startup standby generators Perform device replacements and miscellaneous electrical upgrades Install circuits for EV chargers, hot tubs, generators, and other residential equipment Diagnose electrical issues and provide practical solutions Lead and develop an apprentice or junior electrician working with you each day Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment as if they were your own Keep job sites clean, organized, and professional Communicate clearly with homeowners and the internal team Complete work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of safety and craftsmanship What We're Looking For Journeyman or Master Electrician Strong residential electrical experience Experience with service replacements, panel upgrades, and generator installations Ability to work independently without constant supervision Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Professional communication and customer service Pride in workmanship and attention to detail Ability to lead, train, and hold an apprentice or junior electrician to a high standard Reliable, organized, and accountable Someone who looks for solutions instead of excuses What Success Looks Like Jobs are completed safely, correctly, and efficiently Customers feel confident in the work and the people performing it Company tools and vehicles are properly maintained Your apprentice is consistently improving under your leadership You identify problems early and communicate before they become expensive You take ownership of the result from arrival through completion
Your Credentials:
Active Journeyman Electrician license in the state of KY, WV, or OH (Ideal/preferred) 3+ years of experience in residential or commercial service work (Ideal/preferred) Proficiency with electrical tools and equipment (Required) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (Required) Excellent communication and customer service skills (Required)
Compensation:
Pay will range from $32-42/hour based on experience and performance. Benefits package available including health insurance reimbursement, and paid time off.
