LICENSED ELECTRICIAN / ELECTRICAL MANAGER

Doctor Rooter Plumbing & Electrical Berea, KY — Serving Lexington, Richmond & Central Kentucky Full-Time | Management / Leadership Position Build the Electrical Division With Us Doctor Rooter Plumbing & Electrical is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Master Licensed Electrician who is ready to take the next step into a leadership and management role . This is an opportunity for the right person to help build and lead our electrical division , establish efficient processes, mentor technicians, oversee projects, maintain quality standards, and provide excellent service to our residential and commercial customers. We are looking for someone who is not only highly skilled in the electrical trade, but who also understands that leadership, communication, customer service, accountability, and professionalism are critical to building a successful service company. What You'll Do Lead and oversee the electrical division Supervise and mentor electrical technicians and apprentices Assist with hiring, training, and developing electrical personnel Review electrical jobs for quality, code compliance, and completeness Help schedule and coordinate electrical service calls and projects Perform electrical troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and service work Assist with estimates and project planning Communicate professionally with residential and commercial customers Work with the office and plumbing management team to coordinate operations Help establish electrical department procedures and standards Monitor job quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction Ensure work is performed safely and in accordance with applicable electrical codes Assist with inventory, equipment, and material management Help develop preventative maintenance and commercial electrical services Respond to emergency electrical service needs when necessary Represent Doctor Rooter professionally in the field and with customers

What We're Looking For Required:

Active Kentucky Master Electrician License Significant experience in residential and/or commercial electrical work Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safe work practices Valid driver's license Ability to lead, train, and hold technicians accountable Excellent communication and customer-service skills Ability to work independently and make sound decisions Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Strongly Preferred:

Previous electrical supervisory or management experience Experience managing technicians Experience with estimating and job costing Experience with service-based electrical work Commercial electrical experience Experience working with property managers and commercial customers Experience with scheduling/dispatch and field-service software Experience helping grow or develop an electrical department This Position Is Different We're not simply looking for someone to hold a license and turn wrenches.
