Reporting and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Electrician is responsible for conducting the preventative and corrective electrical maintenance activities, root cause failure analysis, equipment/system/process improvement, and timely response/resolution to downtown issues. Additional Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Perform all duties in a safe and collaborative manner and immediately report any potentially dangerous conditions or other safety concerns to the supervisor. Start up and shuts down equipment in accordance with operation's requirements, company safety procedures and OSHA requirements for machine activation and shutdown. Troubleshoot and repair electric controls, motor control centers, and programmable logic controls (Siemens). Analyze circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings to install, repair, calibrate, service and replace electronic devices and systems. Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks such as checking, cleaning, or repairing equipment to detect and prevent problems. Dismantle, inspect and replace electrical machinery and replaces defective electrical or mechanical parts. Apply knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, PLC, calibrations, and other electronics related areas. Assist with mechanical troubleshooting of highly automated process equipment. Mentoring/training maintenance mechanical technicians and production operators. Maintain flexibility in work shift to support the plant needs.
Requirements :
Associate degree in Industrial Technology/Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance or similar field; or Journeyman Electrician license Minimum 5 years experience in industrial electrical maintenance in manufacturing environment Working knowledge of machine mechanics The desire to be part of a growing facility and learn while developing the skills needed to advance within a highly technical role Must be able to work 2-2-3 work schedule; nights; 12 hour shifts Willingness to do physical work such as climbing, pulling, tugging, lifting, and standing for a long periods of time; lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
